Successful Movember Men's Health Campaign

Townsville Marine Logistics recently partnered with Sun Metals and Townsville Logistics making a difference for men’s health in Movember. The combined efforts of the teams raised awareness and funds for critical health challenges impacting men, including prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health issues.

Movember is a global campaign focused on improving the lives of men by funding innovative research and programs. At Townsville Marine Logistics, supporting initiatives that promote health and wellbeing is a core driver for us, and Movember provided the perfect opportunity to continue having honest conversations, as a follow on from our Safe Work Month activities in October.

The team took part in various activities throughout the month, sparking conversations about health and raising $800 to donate directly to Movember.

Jessica Jenkins, HR & Communications Manager, reflected on the success of the campaign:
"Movember brings attention to issues that affect us all, directly or indirectly. The funds we raised not only support critical health initiatives but also help us raise awareness and continue to build a more supportive environment for our teams. I’m incredibly proud of everyone’s dedication to this cause—it’s a testament to the values we uphold as an organisation and our commitment to each other."
