TML has arrived in Brisbane! In March, we welcomed most of our new Brisbane team with a three day orientation and get-together. While the Brisbane flooding delayed the start of operations, we made use of this time with continued training and familiarisation until our first vessel arrived. Bulk carrier vessel FENGTIEN departed Berth 10 recently carrying one of the largest break-bulk shipments of zinc ingots from the Port. Stevedore, Townsville Marine Logistics loaded 33,000 tonnes of zinc ingots over 7 days. The high quality zinc is destined for New Orleans and is a product of Sun Metals Refinery.
